It is no surprise that with the high quality schooling and top notch teachers here in Austin that Austin area students are out-scoring their Houston and Dallas counterparts. A report released Wednesday determined that in national reading and math tests Austin Students were the Texas exception, with average scores in most part higher than other urban districts and schools nationally.
